Liverpool and Arsenal are keeping tabs on Willian Pacho

According to media reports, Liverpool and Arsenal are keeping tabs on Willian Pacho the Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back.

The Ecuadorian joined Eintracht Frankfurt last summer from Belgian side Royal Antwerp for £7.7 million. William’s performances have earned him the attention of many European clubs.

Prior to his move to Germany, the 22-year-old helped Antwerp win the Belgian league and the Belgian Cup. He then joined Eintracht and went on to make 28 appearances for the club.

According to Sky Sport Germany, Liverpool and Arsenal are monitoring Willian Pacho, who is currently under contract with the German club until the summer of 2028. The 2022 UEFA Europa League champions are expected to demand a fee in excess of £51 million for the defender.

Both sides are keen to bring in another defender this summer. Especially with Joël Matip rumoured to be leaving Liverpool when his contract expires at the end of the season. Arsenal also need a third defender to replace William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães.

Arsenal and Liverpool are locked in a tight battle for the Premier League title this season. The two teams are tied on 64 points each, They are just one point ahead of last year’s champions Manchester City.
