According to media reports, German coach Thomas Tuchel has not ruled out a return to Chelsea next season.

Tuchel is likely to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the current season after the Bavarian club’s poor form this season, with the team 10 points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.

Sky Germany reported that the German coach is open to a return to Chelsea, which is struggling in the English league under Argentinian coach Mauricio Pochettino, where the team is in 11th place with 36 points.

Tuchel is expected to reach solutions to the previous differences with owner Todd Boehly, through which the services of Thomas Tuchel were dispensed with in the previous period. The London club’s officials have acknowledged the mistake of letting Tuchel go.

Tuchel led the Blues to the Champions League in 2021, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup before he was sacked.

Manchester United are also monitoring the situation of the German coach, especially after the disappointing results under Dutch coach Erik ten Hag. Barcelona are also one of the clubs interested in Tuchel’s services after Xavi Hernandez announced that he will leave the club at the end of the season.
