Tottenham targets Kimmich as a solution to improve the squad in a number of positions

The London club are looking to support coach Ange Postecoglou with a number of signings that will improve the squad and fill the gaps in a number of positions such as centre-back, midfielder and winger.

Postecoglou sees next summer as an opportunity to revamp the team. Although the budget for signings may be limited depending on whether the team qualifies for the Champions League next season or not, media sources have indicated that Chelsea’s Connor Gallagher is a strong option in the midfield. And team officials will also seek to sign a replacement defender and a centre-back at the request of Postecoglou.

The Australian coach believes that signing versatile players is one of the solutions that will support the team without having to spend a lot of money. And in this regard, the name of Joshua Kimmich is strongly mentioned within the London club, as the 29-year-old German player can play as a centre-back, right-back and as a midfielder. Pep Guardiola has described him as a player who has it all.

Kimmich is out of contract with the Bavarian club next year and is not open to extending his contract. Making him the subject of interest from clubs such as Manchester City, Liverpool and Barcelona. Which could make it difficult to sign him.

Rumoured to be priced at £64 million. Kimmich is a player with a winning mentality. Having won numerous trophies with Bayern Munich including the Bundesliga on eight occasions and the UEFA Champions League.
