Erik Ten Hag has confirmed that Manchester United want to keep Bruno Fernandes for the foreseeable future.
Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a number of offers to leave the Red Devils, including Bayern Munich and other offers from the Saudi Arabian league, and the Portuguese international says he is keen to stay at Old Trafford if the club needs him.
“I will be here if the club wants me to be a part of the future,” he told Sky Sports after a man-of-the-match performance against Newcastle on Wednesday.
“If for some reason they don’t want me, I will go.”
Erik Ten Hag has confirmed that Manchester United want to keep Bruno Fernandes, especially after his performances.
“Absolutely the club wants to keep Bruno,” Ten Hag said, as per the BBC.
“Everything I know from him, he loves Manchester United, the fans of Manchester United and to play for Manchester United.
“He always gives his best and is an example to everyone, even with his injuries.
“He loves football and he wants to win. That is how I would describe his character.
“It is not easy when so many players around him are injured and he has to carry the team. But he keeps to a good level and, especially in the spring, he grows to a brilliant level.”
