Italian international Jorginho has become the focus of interest from Saudi clubs Al Hilal and Al Ittihad to sign him during the summer transfer window, which will see a fierce competition between the two clubs for the services of the Gunners midfielder.

The Italian midfielder has a contract with Arsenal that expires in the summer of 2024. The Gunners are yet to move to renew the player’s contract as manager Mikel Arteta is yet to decide whether to keep the player next season or leave him out of his plans.

According to Italian newspaper Tutto Mercato, the player’s agent will be travelling to Saudi Arabia in the coming days to meet with representatives of Al Hilal and Al Ittihad and watch their matches. He will hold talks about the player’s future.

Jorginho joined Arsenal in January 2023 from Chelsea for £10 million. The 32-year-old has made 25 appearances for the London club this season, 16 of them in the English league, during which he scored only one goal in the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League from the penalty spot against Lens.
