Liverpool and Manchester City are competing for the services of Bayern Munich youngster Jamal Musiala.
The German youngster, who is regarded as one of the best talents in Europe at the moment, has attracted the interest of many European clubs.
According to the Mirror, musiala is refusing to renew his contract with Bayern Munich. Who are in crisis in the Bundesliga this season. According to the newspaper, musiala would welcome the idea of playing in the Premier League.
The Mirror confirmed that Liverpool and Manchester City have already sent their scouts to watch the German international in the match between Bayern Munich and Leipzig in the Bundesliga.
It also indicated that the Bavarian club made an offer of up to £150,000 per week to Musiala. But the latter rejected the offer to renew his contract, increasing speculation that he will leave the club next June.
The Daily Star reports that Liverpool are not the only team competing with Manchester City to sign musiala, with Chelsea also monitoring the German’s signature and will be looking to secure his services.
Musiala, 21 years old, plays as an attacking midfielder for Bayern Munich and the German national team. His contract with the Bavarian club expires in June 2026.
