Dutch manager Eric Ten Hag has said that Manchester United intend to keep Marcus Rashford this summer despite the offers that have been made for the player.

A move for Rashford in the summer would be a significant injection of cash into the club’s coffers. The player renewed his contract with the club in July for four years.

Manchester United’s financial situation has been described as “tight”. However, the Dutch manager has confirmed that the player will continue his career with the Red Devils.

Marcus Rashford has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain in the past. The Parisian club are looking to replace Kylian Mbappe’s potential departure to Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old England international has made 393 appearances for the Red Devils. He has scored 130 goals and provided 74 assists. Despite his inconsistent form this season, he has been an important player for the club.

“We did not sign him last season for four years with the intention to sell him now,” Ten Hag told a news conference on Friday.

“He should be part of this project. It is not a subject we don’t talk about.”

On Sunday, Manchester United will face Liverpool at Old Trafford in the FA Cup.
