Bowen’s Hat-Trick Powers West Ham to 4-2 Win Over Brentford

West Ham returned to winning ways with a 4-2 victory over Brentford in the 26th round of the English Premier League, in a match played at the London Olympic Stadium, under the whistle of referee Simon Hooper.

The Hammers gave the visitors only 5 minutes for Jarrod Bowen to open the scoring, and he returned two minutes later to score the second goal for the home side, and Brenford reduced the score in the 13th minute through Neal Maupay, so that the first half ended with West Ham leading (2/1), in the second half The Hammers continued to attack, which resulted in a third goal scored by Jarrod Bowen again, to sign a hat-trick in the 63rd minute, then Emerson Palmieri signed the fourth goal in the 69th minute, before Yoane Wissa appeared to reduce the difference by scoring the second goal for Brentford in the 82nd minute.

With this win, West Ham got back on the winning track after three consecutive defeats in the English league, and the first win since December last year when they beat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium with two clean goals. Brentford suffered their third consecutive defeat after losing to Liverpool and Manchester City.

The West Ham Victory Over Brentford leaves them in eighth place in the Premier League standings with 39 points, while Brentford’s tally stands at 25 points in sixteenth place.

After not scoring for seven consecutive games, Bowen scored his first ever hat-trick on Monday night against Brentford, proving that he still has the goalscoring touch despite West Ham’s difficult run of form.

Bowen’s hat-trick took him to his 14th goal of the season in the Premier League, making him the third highest scorer in the league behind Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah.

According to sofascore, Bowen touched the ball on 42 occasions, making 20 out of 25 passes (80 per cent), while he won four out of 15 tackles and made two dribbles.
