Amrabat’s Value Concerns at United: Fiorentina are concerned that Sofyan Amrabat’s value has dropped during his loan spell at Manchester United.
Amrabat’s time at Manchester United has not been a good one for the player. As he has not started many games for the Red Devils. He was part of the Moroccan national team at the Africa Cup in January which made it difficult for him to adapt to the team and Eric ten Hagge relied on the player as a left back rather than a centre midfielder.
Amrabat was heavily criticised in the last match against Manchester City last Sunday, where he came on as a substitute in the 82nd minute and made a mistake after failing to control the ball properly, which allowed Manchester City to score the third goal through Erling Haaland to win the game 3-1.
According to Football Italia, the Italian club fears that Manchester United will not exercise their option to buy the Moroccan international permanently. In addition, the Viola believe that they may find it very difficult to sell the player to another team once he returns.
Amrabat’s loan deal cost Manchester United 9 million in addition to covering his salary for the entire season. And the United management feels that Sofiane Amrabat has not done enough to stay in the team.
